The Opera in the Ozarks Orchestra comprises young professional musicians from across the country. The instrumentalists enter fully into the artistic and social life at The Point.  Rehearsals begin June 11  and the final performance is July 21.  After the three main stage operas have opened, opportunities for chamber music, practice and relaxation abound.  All members of the 2023 company will be required to be fully vaccinated according to CDC recommendations. All first-year principal and section musicians receive a stipend of $1500; housing and all meals for the period of the six-week contract are included.

The review of applications will begin February 1 and positions will be  available until the table below reflects otherwise.  Positions will remain open until filled but most offers and decisions will be made by April 1.

To apply please send all materials as attachments to or*******@op***.org.
