Live Audition Schedule

For the 2025 season, artists will have the opportunity to audition live at several locations or submit recently recorded videos for our consideration.  All applications and videos will be submitted via YAP Tracker.  Auditioning live has the advantage of offering us a opportunity to meet you, get a sense of your personality in conversation, as well as experience your voice and artistry in person. 

FOR YOUR LIVE AUDITION:

  • Prepare three selections:  one in Italian, one in English and another in a language of your choice.
  • One selection may be an art song, oratorio or musical theater selection.
  • An experienced accompanist will be provided.  
  • Please bring a résumé and repertoire list — no additional headshot needed-save your money.

 

LIVE AUDITION DATES AND LOCATIONS

All live auditions for the 2025 season are past.
The deadline for submitting an application for with a recorded audition was JANUARY 31.

After February 1, late applications will be considered on an individual basis by submitting first an email and résumé only to auditions@opera.org with the subject line:  “LATE APP REQUEST:  Your last name — your vocal type.”
