DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR
Opera in the Ozarks is seeking a skilled, highly motivated and detail oriented individual to join the team as a Director of Development. The ideal teammate will have the demonstrated ability to build relationships with current and future donors. This is a full time, salaried, exempt position.
The Development Director will be responsible for growing the individual giving program, raising major gifts ($5,000-$100,000 plus) and prospect/donor management to support both annual fund and capital campaign. Your work will help to ensure continuity and stability of the organization and identifies opportunities for the company’s continued growth. You will facilitate strong communications and encourages positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders and the community. As one of the leaders of the senior staff team, you will be involved in all short-term and long-range discussions and planning.
You will be a critical member of the management team and will be assigned responsibilities as necessary to support the growth and success of the organization.
This position requires a combination of daytime, evening, and weekend hours. Exact hours/work schedules will be developed with the General Director.
We are looking for a person with a high degree of professionalism and integrity in your communications and actions with stakeholders. You have an eye for detail and excellent organizational skills.
