Auditions
Thank you for your interest in applying for our 2013 season. Please complete the two-page 2013 OIO Application. If you are applying for financial aid, complete the Scholarship Application . Well in advance of the audition date requested, send all materials with the $45 application fee (payable to “IPFAC”) to:

Only after receipt of the application and application fee will an audition time be assigned or your DVD/Video reviewed. Early applications are strongly encouraged. Deadline for receipt of applications for live auditions is four days before the proposed audition. Final application deadline is February 1. The priority deadline for submitting a DVD or You Tube posting is February 1.
LIVE AUDITION
Live auditions will be held December 1-13 in Lawrence, Kansas City, Wichita, Oklahoma City, Dallas, Austin, Houston, Tallahassee, Philadelphia, New York and Boston. In January auditions will be held in Chicago, Bloomington, Ann Arbor, Tucson and Los Angeles.

AUDITION REPERTOIRE
Please prepare prepare three arias. At least one aria must be in Italian, French or German and one in English. If you wish, one selection may be an art song.
DVD, WEBSITE or YouTube AUDITION
A live audition will best convey your abilities, personality and potential. However, well-filmed video shot from the front may be submitted. High quality audio quality is essential. If possible, make sure the camera frames you head to toe. Audition via personal website video or YouTube will be considered. These selections must contain the same repertoire as required of the live auditions (see below). We reserve the right to request additional electronic samples of sufficient quality to properly evaluate you.
If submitting a DVD, provide track numbers and excerpt titles on a separate sheet of paper with your name and voice type. Before sending the DVD please be sure that it works! The priority deadline for submission of DVDs and You Tube postings is February 1 but it is in your interest to submit materials as early as possible. Send all materials to the address above.
NOTIFICATION
Artists accepted into the program will be notified in early March 2013. Scholarship offers will be made shortly after notices of admission. Casting in some roles may continue after that date.
